Athics Website Cookie Policy – Cookie Notice

Last updated: July 7, 2026

1. Introduction

This cookie policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used by the website https://athics.ai (hereinafter: "the website") and how you can manage your preferences.

The data controller is Athics S.r.l., Via Meuccio Ruini 10, 42124 Reggio Emilia (RE), Italy, VAT 02804960355. For personal data processing in general, see our privacy policy.

2. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that websites store in your browser while you navigate. They make the website work, remember your preferences, or collect usage statistics. They can be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party") or by external services embedded in its pages ("third-party").

3. Which cookies we use

3.1 Necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the website to work and to remember your basic navigation choices. They do not require your consent.

If you consent to analytics or marketing cookies, the website loads Google Tag Manager. Google Analytics 4 cookies — which help us understand how visitors use the website (most-viewed pages, traffic sources) in aggregate form — are only set if you have consented to analytics cookies.

Loading happens through Google Consent Mode v2: until you give consent, all storage for analytics and advertising purposes remains disabled by default.

For more information, see the Google privacy policy and the page describing the types of cookies used by Google.

3.3 Third-party services in the contact form

Pages containing the contact form load a script from ActiveCampaign (athics.activehosted.com), the service we use to receive and manage enquiries. The script may set its own cookies as described in the ActiveCampaign privacy policy.

On your first visit, the website shows a banner with three options: Accept all, Necessary only, or Preferences for a granular choice about analytics and marketing cookies.

You can review or change your choices at any time by clicking the cookie-shaped icon at the bottom left of every page: the banner will reopen with your currently saved preferences.

You can also delete cookies already stored through your browser settings:

The choice you make in the banner is saved in the athics_cookie_consent cookie and sent to the controller's systems (date, type of choice and language) for consent documentation purposes.

6. Your rights

In relation to data processed through cookies, you can exercise the rights provided by Articles 15–22 of the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
